Black Lion--Joe Hare--1967--Lai Khe South Vietnam

A member of 3rd Platoon, B Co. 2/28th Infantry, stationed in Lai Khe, South Vietnam. There for Operations Cedar Falls, Junction City, Billings, Shenadoah and several small opertions. We were at Tay Ninh, An Loc, Loc Ninh, Pho Loi, Dion, Ben Cat, Ap Ba Bang and others. I still lay awake at night sometimes and think about 1 May 67-the day Sam Scriven was KIA, 17 Jun 67-the day of the fight in Operation Billings, and 17 Oct 67 the day of the Battle Of Ong Thanh.
